Building and Zoning Applications
The following Applications state what is required before submission to zoning officials. Please read the zoning ordinance, and application carefully! Print the Application, Fill tit out properly, and have the required information before submitting to the zoning officials.

The Planning and Zoning Commission is made up of five city residents. After holding public hearings, the Commission considers the following recommendations: Proposed amendments to the Land Use, Urban Renewal and other plans, changes in the written text of the Zoning Ordinance, changes to the Official Zoning Map, review of proposed developments and subdivisions as necessary and other requested items as directed by the City Council.
The Board of Adjustment is made up of five city residents. The Board of Adjustment considers the following actions: Special use or exceptions, conditional use permits or temporary permits, consideration of variances, zoning district map interpretations and appeals of determinations made by zoning administrators. All these actions are done after public hearings on the subject.
